Overview

Schuy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates schuy.xyz (the “Site”). This policy explains what data is collected when you visit the Site, how it is used, and what choices you have. We collect minimal data and only enable analytics cookies with your explicit consent.

Data We Collect

When you visit the Site, no personal data is collected unless you choose to enable analytics cookies. If you click Accept on the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 is activated and may collect:

Pages visited and time spent on each page
Referring website or search engine
General geographic location (country / city — not precise location)
Device type, operating system, and browser
Anonymized IP address (Google automatically anonymizes IPs)

If you click Decline — or simply close the banner without choosing — no analytics scripts are loaded and none of the above data is collected.

We do not collect names, email addresses, payment information, or any other directly identifying personal data through this Site.

How We Use This Data

Analytics data (when consented to) is used solely to understand how visitors interact with the Site — for example, which sections are most viewed or how people discover the work. This helps us improve the content and experience over time. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with any third party for marketing purposes.

The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address when fetching font files. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ for details. External links (to Instagram, Gumroad, Chill Originals, etc.) are governed by those services’ own privacy policies.

Your Choices

You can opt out of analytics at any time using any of these methods:

Clear your consent choice: Open your browser’s developer tools, go to Application → Local Storage → schuy.xyz, and delete the schuy_cookie_consent key. The banner will reappear on your next visit.
Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on: Install the browser add-on provided by Google to block Google Analytics across all sites.
Browser settings: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of other sites.

Data Retention

Analytics data retained by Google is subject to the retention period configured in the Google Analytics property (default: 14 months). Your consent preference is stored in localStorage on your own device and is not transmitted to any server.

Children’s Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
